Discounted Festival tickets for staff
Thanks to the University’s sponsorship of the Edinburgh International Festival, staff are again entitled to a significant discount for ticketed shows.
A 25 per cent ‘Corporate Friends’ discount will be available on all tickets (subject to availability and excluding the Virgin Money Fireworks Concert tickets) at this year’s event from 4-28 August.
*Please note, the University has now reached its purchasing limit on the EIF ticket discount for this year, so the code is no longer available.

To apply for the discount using the University’s exclusive code and to stay up to date with news of other deals, staff must first sign up to the Corporate Friends distribution list: corporatefriends@eif.co.uk

Ticket booking
Public sales will open on Saturday 25 March and our discount will go live from 10am on Monday 27 March.
Tickets will be available to book through www.eif.co.uk.
If booking over the phone, Hub Tickets main line is +44 (0)131 473 2000. The discount code may be quoted over the phone but as per online booking, also requires an account registered using an ed.ac.uk staff email address.
When using the code for online booking:
- The option to enter the code should be visible when selecting your seats.
- After entering a code in the Promotional Code box, click ‘Go’ and an on-screen notification will be displayed confirming that the code entered is valid and has been accepted.
- After the code has been accepted, the discounted tickets options will automatically appear.
- When selecting the quantity of tickets desired, an additional Adult ticket option that displays your organisation name should be visible and indicate the discounted price and a maximum purchase of up to 4 tickets for that performance.
There is a cap on discounted tickets this year so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
