Our approach is to support researchers and encourage them to embed public engagement within their work.
- Enhance public interest in educational, scientific and cultural developments through public lectures, exhibitions and publications.
- Engage people in discussion and debate about the social, environmental and economic implications of new developments.
- Influence policy makers globally, nationally and locally — not only through the work of our staff, but also by supporting others in the wider community do so more effectively.
- To work closely with major extramural bodies involved in public engagement mutually to strengthen each other’s offerings and capabilities
