Accommodation guarantees, deadlines and details.
If you do not qualify for an accommodation guarantee but still wish to stay in University accommodation you are welcome to submit an application and be added to a waiting list.
The University Accommodation, Catering and Events website has a helpful Ready to Apply step-by-step guide for starting your accommodation application.
Applications are made using the 'Student Accommodation' hub on MyEd, and you will be asked for your preferred residences out of those available to you.
To get an idea of what University accommodation options there are, an overview of the different types of accommodation is given in these Accommodation, Catering and Events accommodation guides below, with more detailed information available on location, interiors and accommodation fees (i.e. rent, with catering fees if applicable) shown in the Accomodation Search page of the University Accommodation, Catering and Events website. Information can also be found on the University Accommodation Overview section of this website.
It is the University’s policy to issue all accommodation offers and receive all acceptances online. Therefore, when submitting an accommodation application, it is important that you provide an email address at which you can be contacted throughout the summer from June to September 2017.
For unconditional offer holders who have submitted an accommodation application, offers of accommodation will be made by the University from June onwards.
For conditional offer holders, the University will respond to your application once we receive your exam results.
A requirement of accepting your accommodation offer is to arrange a method of paying accommodation fees (i.e. rent, with catering fees if applicable). Detailed information on paying accommodation fees can be found on the University Accommodation, Catering and Events website.
