The University hosts welcome events specifically for visiting and exchange students who are joining the University in January each year.
Visiting students who are joining us in January should plan to arrive on the arrival day (Wednesday, 10th January 2018) to ensure that you can attend all of the welcome events that are hosted to introduce you to the University and your programme. The first event is a 'Taste of Scotland' on Wednesday evening. Resident Assistants in your accommodation sites will walk you to this event and we hope you will join us! If you are not living in University accommodation please make your own way to Teviot Rowhouse in Bristo Square.
While this event is not compulsory it is a good way to meet new students and it's free! To help us cater for the appropriate amount of people please register via EventBrite (this booking link will be live in late November 2017)
Compulsory sessions begin on Thursday, 11th January.
You will be able to find information about all the events being hosted during January Welcome by downloading our app or using your web browser. The event App will be live in December 2017.
