About the Go Abroad Fair

The Go Abroad Fair is an annual drop-in event for 1st and 2nd year students. Jointly run with the Careers Service, the Go Abroad Fair provides a platform to help you find out about a wide range of global opportunities, whether international study options, paid work-experience, or volunteering. This is a great place for students to research their options!

The Fair enables you to find out about University programmes:

  • Student Exchanges
  • Principal's Go Abroad Fund
  • Summer programmes

Exhibitors and speakers from external organisations and companies provide information on:

  • International projects
  • Internships
  • Casual work
  • Voluntary roles
  • Gap years
  • Other opportunities outside the UK

Who will be there?

Talks will be given by staff from the Go Abroad Office. The Careers Service will also be present to talk about the study and employment opportunities available to you. Representatives from external organisations will be on hand to provide information and to answer your questions. And Edinburgh students who've already studied and worked abroad as part of their degree will be available to meet and chat about their experiences.

No need to register - just come along and find out where your degree could take you!
