Biography

Background

I was originally trained in Politics and Theology in Melbourne, Australia, specialising in Systematic Theology, especially the ethical and moral implications of reflecting theologically on contextual issues of public interest. This interest in contextualising issues of public interest within a theological framework led me to graduate research at the General Theological Seminary in New York, where I undertook my initial graduate degree in researching the implications of forming a collective spiritual identity within the context of the Covid Pandemic. This research motivated my interest to engage with additional graduate studies, researching the social teachings of William Temple and Dorothy Day as a comparative exercise in assessing the impact of the Christian Socialist Movement of the 20th Century.
