ILW2015 is the University's fourth annual festival of creative learning and will take place 16-20 February.
It offers an opportunity for staff and students to develop skills, dip in to new disciplines and celebrate innovation within Edinburgh’s academic community.
Chance to collaborate
This year's festival features more than 200 events, including some 40 student-run activities and more than 60 collaborations between schools.
Highlights include:
- an exploration of animal senses, including a falconry display
- a science bake-off
- leadership lessons through tango
- a workshop on how to build a rainwater harvester
- renovation of Preston Street Primary School's playground.
Many events are open to staff as well as student participants, but spaces may be limited so early booking is advised.
Campaign launch
The ILW team has launched its 2015 campaign, which features, in addition to the online events calendar, a printed events brochure, lamp post wraps, posters and lecture call-outs.
Staff are asked to support the campaign by speaking to students about ILW2015 and encouraging them to visit the ILW website to plan their week.
