Information for prospective undergraduates from the EU who have applied to study at the University of Edinburgh.
The University of Edinburgh prepares students for global futures. Many of Edinburgh’s graduates progress to careers outside the UK. Degrees from the University of Edinburgh will continue to be recognised by employers and universities across Europe and the rest of the world. The UK’s membership of the European Higher Education Area is unaffected by its EU member status.
Tuition fees for EU undergraduates starting in 2018 and 2019
The Scottish Government has confirmed that EU students, studying full time for their first degree and enrolling in the 2018/19 and 2019/20 academic sessions, will be eligible to have their tuition fees paid by the Student Awards Agency Scotland for their full period of study. Students will be admitted as Scottish/EU fee status students, will retain that status for the duration of their studies, and are eligible for tuition fee support from the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS).
Please visit the SAAS website for more information:
Support guaranteed for study abroad students
The University is guaranteeing international mobility support for all 2018-19 undergraduate entrants who are required to complete a year abroad during their third, or exceptionally fourth, year of study.
