Meeting your conditional offer
If you cannot meet the conditions of your offer, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we can provide guidance on using alternative evidence.
Many qualifications, including most UK qualifications, will now be awarded on the basis of:
- work you have completed in school or college
- tests you have taken
- teacher or lecturer assessments
We are confident that your assessed grades will be a good reflection of your achievements and your ability. We will accept these grades as normal for 2020 entry.
Our entry requirements will not change as a result of the different assessment methods being used this year.
More information on 2020 qualifications is available from the following awarding bodies:
Cancelled or postponed exams
You may be worried about meeting the conditions of your undergraduate offer if your school or college exams have been cancelled.
Some exams or tests have been postponed until later in the year, or may even have been cancelled completely.
Where it is no longer possible for you to meet the conditions of your offer, using the qualifications you had planned to take, please contact us. We can provide guidance on using alternative evidence to meet your conditions.
Contact details for admissions teams are provided on your programme page in our degree finder.
We are aware that SAT tests have been cancelled.
If you have a conditional offer, where SATs are required, we have contacted you directly about alternative evidence that we may be able to consider instead.
You may be worried about completing your current degree in time to meet the conditions of your postgraduate offer.
If you have a conditional offer, we will contact you directly with information about:
- the evidence we need of your final grades
- deadlines for providing evidence
We want to be as flexible as possible with our deadlines and will ensure that you have time to get a visa if you need one.
If you have further questions about meeting your conditional offer during to the Covid-19 pandemic, please get in touch.
