Coronavirus (Covid-19) updates for staff and students

Asymptomatic testing

Information on asymptomatic testing and how you can get a lateral flow test.

The Scottish Government has removed the advice to self-test using an LFD from 18 April and you will no longer be able to get these tests at local Pharmacies, online or from the University pick up points.

The TestEd project

The University and the UK Medical Research Council are supporting an exciting research project to develop a new approach to Covid-19 testing, called TestEd.

The study aims to identify those who are infected with Covid-19 but have no symptoms of the infection.

Participation is voluntary and testing is currently available at multiple locations across the University. Everyone who works or studies at the University can take part in the study.
