Our winter graduation ceremonies take place between Saturday 23 November and Friday 29 November.
Graduation - share your story
All graduation ceremonies take place in the iconic McEwan Hall, which first opened its doors in 1897 as the purpose-built graduation hall for the University of Edinburgh. The ceremony marks the culmination of years of hard work, and is a day to celebrate with friends and family.
Share your Edinburgh graduation story with us! We'd love to hear from our graduates, as well as their family and friends. Tag your Instagram photos, tweets and Facebook posts with our graduation celebrations hashtag: #EdinburghGrad
Our graduation ceremonies will be streamed live on this page. The live stream will become available 10 minutes before each graduation ceremony begins.

When you graduate, you enter the next phase of your University of Edinburgh life, as you join our global alumni community. Membership of this network comes with a range of benefits and opportunities.
We are you
Graduation can be exciting and daunting in equal measure, but you continue to be part of the University of Edinburgh community of alumni who can support you.
We know that it's always good to hear from those who've been there, so we've taken the burning questions you are asking yourself and put them to a selection of recent graduates who have made various life journeys since their time at Edinburgh.
Q&As with recent graduates
Platform One is a meeting place, a community place, a discussion place. It is a platform of possibilities. Its aim is to provide a single online location where students, alumni, staff and volunteers can share, interact and advise.
What's your Edinburgh song?
We asked some of our graduates and alumni to think of a song that reminds them of their time as a student here. Their answers might surprise you!
