Global focus for Staff Week
Edinburgh is to welcome 38 staff from 19 universities as it hosts International Staff Week.
Organised by Universitas 21, the annual event enables participants to develop skills and knowledge in areas of student support.
Colleagues from universities in Europe, the US, China, Japan, Thailand and Singapore will spend two days in Edinburgh. They will then travel to The Netherlands to complete the course with the University of Amsterdam.
Topics to be discussed include global citizenship, innovations in student mobility, entrepreneurship and supporting student mental health.
The programme of activities takes place from 16 - 20 April and is organised by Edinburgh Global’s Go Abroad office.
“This is a great example of European partnership and demonstrates the University’s commitment to developing and maintaining relationships with institutions around the globe.
