China & South East Asia Careers Fair

More than 60 companies will take part in the China and South East Asia virtual careers fair.

The event will take place from Monday 19 - Friday 23 October.

The virtual careers fair will allow Edinburgh students and alumni to interact in live web sessions with prospective employers.

Virtual presentations will be delivered by companies seeking to recruit Edinburgh graduates.

Employers

The online event will highlight graduate and internship opportunities with a range of businesses in China and South East Asia.

Companies delivering webinars include Microsoft, HILTI, Shanghai Electric, Contact Singapore and Hilton.

The high calibre of employers taking part reflects the reputation of Scottish universities worldwide. The standard of education and English fluency that international students gain from studying in Scotland is much sought after.

Webinars

Webinars will take place every morning for the duration of the careers fair and will last for 30-40mins.

Sessions will take the form of a company recruitment presentation followed by a Q&A.

Companies confirmed to hold webinars include FDM, CPA Australia and Meltwater.

UK-wide

The fair is open to Chinese and South East Asian students from throughout Scotland and is organised by Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrew’s Universities.

Following the success of previous virtual careers fairs, this year the event has expanded to include students from the universities of Liverpool and Warwick.
