The Director-General of CERN, the inventor of the Sony Walkman and the former Archbishop of Canterbury are among those receiving honorary awards.

The Orcadian jewellery designer will be awarded an Honorary Degree of Master of Arts at the McEwan Hall on Friday 27 June.

On Saturday 28 June, the Director-General of CERN will receive an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science.
On the same day, the Emeritus Professor of Physics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles will be awarded an Honorary degree of Doctor of Science.
Dr Toshi Tada Doi & Professor Julia Slingo
The inventor of the Sony Walkman and other Sony creations will receive an Honorary Degree of Doctor honoris causa on Monday 30 June.
On the same day, the Chief Scientist at the UK Met Office will be awarded an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science.
The Chief Executive Officer of AG Barr will receive an Honorary Degree of Doctor honoris causa on Wednesday 2 July.
Professor Dinesh Singh
On Tuesday 1 July, the Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University will be awarded an Honorary Degree of Doctor honoris causa.
Dr Rowan Williams
The former Archbishop of Canterbury will be awarded an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Divinity on Friday 4 July.
