The University has made public a new Student Engagement Statement.

The statement is aimed at reaffirming the commitment of the University and EUSA (Edinburgh University Students’ Association) to working in partnership with students to enhance continually their academic experience.

The statement recognises student-led initiatives such as Peer Support Schemes, which enable established students to facilitate, support and empower newer students in developing skills and managing their learning.

We are delighted to launch this statement with EUSA. It clarifies how we engage with students and will be a dynamic document that we will update as these activities evolve and develop. It includes examples of some fantastic student-led initiatives that are already well established. This is also a great opportunity to let newer students know about the many ways they can get involved in shaping their student experience.
