Students' Saltire success

Seven Edinburgh students have earned placements on The Saltire Foundation's 2013 Undergraduate Internship Programme.

The Saltire Foundation is an independent charitable organisation whose mission is to develop entrepreneurship and Scottish economic growth. It also seeks to promote Scotland as a platform for multi-national business.

The successful Edinburgh students are Kirsten Weir, Hannah Paterson, Benjamin Gentilli, Becky McGreevy, Richard Cookson, Helen Coleman and Scott Duncan.

Scotland has always sent people out into the world to seek opportunities and this wonderful 2013 intake for our Undergraduate Programme is following in a long and proud tradition.

Varied experiences

The internships cover a broad spectrum of study, including technical support for manufacturing, sales and communication, business development and marketing.

All the students are undergraduates in their penultimate year.

As part of the programme, Saltire students will work with a number of internationally renowned companies, undertaking their internships across the USA, Switzerland and within the UK.
