Honorary degree for Bill Clinton
Former US President Bill Clinton has been awarded an honorary degree by the University of Edinburgh.
He received the degree of Doctor honoris causa during a recent visit to Edinburgh.

Charitable causes
The award, which was presented by University Principal and Vice Chancellor, Professor Sir Timothy O’Shea, is in recognition of his work with the Clinton Foundation.
It is a privilege to welcome President Clinton to Edinburgh and to present him with an honorary degree. It recognises his charitable work to develop partnerships which will improve global health, strengthen economies, promote health and wellness and protect the environment.
