Chromatin biology course success

Two Researchers from the MRC HGU were involved with The Welcome Trust Chromatin Structure and Function Advanced Course in Cambridge: December 2014

Researchers Professor Nick Gilbert and Dr Adam Buckle, based within the MRC Human Genetics Unit, recently organised and taught on The Welcome Trust Chromatin Structure and Function Advanced Course in Cambridge.

The ten day residential course brought researchers from around the world together for training in the experimental and computational approaches that can be used to mechanistically dissect important aspects of chromatin biology at the gene or genome-wide levels.

The programme was well received as it provided researchers time to interact with eminent guest speakers and get practical experience of state of the art techniques in the chromatin biology field.
