Edinburgh Clinical Medical School gains Athena Swan Bronze status: May 2014
We strive to promote a culture of respect and inclusion of people from all backgrounds that nurtures excellence, leadership and innovation.
The School, jointly with the School of Clinical Sciences, is delighted to have been awarded Athena Swan Bronze status, and to be the first clinical medical school in Scotland to have this honour.
The award recognises excellence in employment practices that advance and promote the careers of women in STEMM (science, technology, engineering, maths, medicine) subjects in higher education and research.
