Young Academy of Scotland New Members
Three members of the IGMM community appointed to the RSE Young Academy of Scotland: March 2013
The Young Academy of Scotland last week announced the appointment of 50 new members. These include 3 members of the IGMM; Liz Patton from MRC HGU and ECRC; Sasha Kagansky, Chancellor's Fellow in HGU; and Asier Unciti-Broceta from ECRC. The YAS was set up by the Royal Society of Edinburgh to "bring together some of the most able and innovative young academics, entrepreneurs, artists and professionals in Scotland, with the aim of harnessing their creativity to develop a coherent and influential voice on behalf of the most talented people of their generation." Many congratulations to Liz, Sasha, Asier and the other 17 new members from the University of Edinburgh.
