MRC HGU Researchers contributed to a Radio 4 series, Ingenious, Dr Kat Arney tells the unexpected story of four pieces of human DNA.

Professor Ian Jackson contributed to an episode entitled 'The Ginger Gene' discussing how mouse models have been used to elucidate the genetics of hair colour.

Professor Bob Hill discussed his work on the Sonic Hedgehog  (Shh) gene. This gene is critical for multiple functions in development, but the Hill lab focus is on the role of Shh in the limbs.
