MSc by Research

The MRC Human Genetics Unit offers an MSc by Research in Genetics and Molecular Medicine. This consists of a one year (or two year part-time) research project in a specific lab. Students are encouraged to participate on our taught courses, but this is not a requirement. In the first instance please contact a suitable supervisor for your MSc; they will then arrange an interview for you. 

PhD in Genetics and Molecular Medicine

The MRC Human Genetics Unit provides an outstanding training environment with state of the art facilities. The PhD consists of a three year research project in a specific lab. Students are encouraged to participate on our taught courses, but this is not a requirement. In the first instance please contact a suitable supervisor for your PhD; they will then arrange an interview for you.
