Challenging the Colonial Legacy of Global Health Institutions

Kristina and Lois, both 2019 graduates of the full-time MPH programme were recently part of a group that published an article on challenging the colonial legacy of global health institutions.

As big picture thinkers and lifelong-learners, we became interested in decolonising global health as we wanted to practice reflexivity in our own work. For instance as we are taught in an institution that still utilises its colonial ties, how do our biases and privileges affect the work we hope to be involved in as global health practitioners?
