Explore our International strategy and activities.

The College International Strategy aims to develop opportunities for enriching global activities, widening meaningful engagement across staff and students, research collaborations, enhancing our global digital and on-campus infrastructure to support to support global interaction and societal impact.

The strategy is delivered and led by the College’s Dean International Professor Rebecca Reynolds, in partnership with Edinburgh Global.

The International Strategy will focus on the following four areas for engagement and development:

1. international partnerships 

2. international philanthropy and advancement 

3. international student recruitment 

4. international research and Innovation– during and post-COVID-19. 

Oversight of international projects comes under the remit of the CMVM International Executive.

 

University 2030 strategy

The College shares the global ambition of the University’s 2030 Strategy ‘as a world-leading, research-intensive University, aimed to address tomorrow’s greatest challenges, through values-led approach to teaching, research and innovation and through the strength of our relationships, both locally and globally'.

The University 2030 Strategy’s core values are aimed at achieving excellence in all that we do, rooted in the relevance of research and teaching to society and ensuring this is inclusive and accessible. Edinburgh Global

The Edinburgh Global website has information about the University’s internationalisation strategy, including regional focus groups, regional deans, global academies and a database of links with institutions around the world. There is also guidance on the establishment of a new link with an international institution.
