Our interdisciplinary groups, centres and institutes bring together basic and clinical academic staff in broad, thematic research concentrations encompassing basic sciences, translational and clinical research.

According to The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019, Edinburgh Medical School is now ranked 2nd in the UK for medicine, while the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies is ranked 1st in the UK for the fifth year running.
