Usher Institute's Postgraduate Teaching Team hosts sessions at the 2022 Learning & Teaching Conference

On 15-16 June, many of Usher Institute’s postgraduate teaching team will be hosting sessions at the 2022 Learning and Teaching conference. This year’s theme is ‘Shaping our Futures’.

Amidst many exciting and interesting sessions by peers across The University of Edinburgh, our multi-talented team will be hosting the following sessions:  

15 June 2022 

10:15-11:15 (BST)

  • More than a mark: Re-thinking the role of feedback in creating dialogue and reflexivity (Neneh Rowa Dewar & Suzanne Goopy) [Paper]

  • Building teamwork skills and experiences : Integrating group work into your curriculum (Neil Lent, Afshan Dean, Richard Smith, Robin Ramsay, Rose Geddes, Chris Sheridan, Suzanne Goopy, Mairead Bermingham & Margaret Douglas) [Workshop]
  • Extending inter-disciplinary learning opportunities to the student and alumni community (Amanda Meyer & Liz Grant) [Panel]

  • Usher Masters Alumni (UMA) network: From students to alumni supporting transitions and developing connections (Barry Melia, Emilie McSwiggan, Suzanne Goopy, Annemieke Bikker, Damilola Iduye & Neneh Rowa-Dewar) [Paper]
