Matriculation

Information for new students on how to matriculate.

What is matriculation?

Matriculation is the process of formally enrolling as a student at the University of Edinburgh.

Normally there are three steps in the matriculation process (although some students may be required to complete a fourth step). You must complete all of these steps before you are fully matriculated as a student of the University.

All students must enroll with the University at the beginning of their studies, and then re-enroll for each new academic session thereafter.
