The University provides each student with an email account. Please note that your University email address is the way the University of Edinburgh will contact you throughout your time of study, so it is important you check this regularly.

Your student card
The University requires that you have an up to date student card and this must be carried at all times when on University property. Online distance learners must also hold an up to date student card. New students who have not previously received or applied for a University card will be sent an email to the personal email account that you used in your admissions process. The email will inform you when and how to upload and submit a photograph online for use in the production of your first University card.
