Games Night at Easter Bush

Available games will include:

  • Ping pong in the basement seminar room
  • Board games in the basement break area
    • Some board games will be provided, please treat them with respect as they belong to the committee members
    • We encourage you to bring in your own board games too
  • Switch games in the Auditorium/basement break area
    • If you have a Nintendo Switch, bring it in with you (at your own risk) and join in groups to play multiplayer games
  • Interactive party games on the projector in the auditorium (Jackbox games)
    • If you want to take part in this you need only bring a phone/laptop/tablet/pretty much any portable device with a web browser (at your own risk)
    • Jackbox games contains a wide variety of different games that might ask you to draw weird doodles, write the best joke, or answer trivia questions via your own device
    • These games can have large numbers of players at the same time and are usually a lot of fun

If you would like to bring drinks and snacks please do, however we expect the rooms to be left clean and tidy at the end of the session and this will be essential if the games nights are to continue long term.

If you have ideas for other games you would like to include we'd be happy to try to incorporate them into future games nights

Games Night at Easter Bush

The postdoc committee invites you to join us for the first campus games night . The event will take place every 2 weeks until people stop showing up, and is open to the entire campus and all staff and postgraduate students. This is a great opportunity to meet your colleagues on the campus and overcome some of the isolation the pandemic brought on us all.
