Medal award for Professor Jonathan Rees

Professor Jonathan Rees (Grant Chair of Dermatology) has been awarded the David Anderson Berry Medal

The award was given to Professor Rees by the Royal Society of Edinburgh in recognition of his work in the area of the mutagenic and carcinogenic effects of ultraviolet radiation on human skin.

This medal was established in 1930 by Dr Berry and is awarded quinquennially for recent work on the effects of X-rays and other forms of radiation on living tissue.
