Tissue Repair PhD students are encouraged to attend seminars organised by the affiliated Research Centres. Each Centre runs a seminar series, details of which can be found on the links below.
Events & symposia
This year’s Tissue Repair Symposium - Organoids 2020 will be held on Friday 29th May 2020, in the Playfair Library, Edinburgh.
The symposium is organised by the postgraduate students on the Wellcome Trust 4-year PhD Programme in Tissue Repair.
The translational use of organoids across systems will be discussed during the symposium with the following speakers already confirmed: Dr Selina Wray (University College London), Prof Trevor Dale (Univeristy of Cardiff) and Dr Benedetta Artegiani, a research fellow from Hans Clevers’ lab (Hubrecht Institute, The Netherlands).
There will also be an Eearly Career Researcher session, in the format of short talks. Further information regarding abstract submission will be circulated in the coming weeks.
CMVM Postgrad Careers Series
The College of Medicine & veterinary Medicine, in collaboration with Edinburgh Innovations, is running a series of free seminars to showcase interesting careers outside of academia. Upcoming seminars:
