Pieter Louwe wins poster prize at international conference

Tissue Repair student Pieter Louwe scoops poster prize at 1st European Symposium on Myeloid Regulatory Cells in Health and Disease.

Many congratulations to Pieter Louwe, third year Tissue Repair student in the lab of Dr Steve Jenkins at the MRC Centre for Inflammation Research, on winning a poster prize at the 1st European Symposium on Myeloid Regulatory Cells in Health and Disease in Essen, Germany, last week.

Following the conference poster session, during which Pieter presented his poster on 'The fate and plasticity of inflammatory macrophages during peritonitis' Pieter’s poster was awarded a poster prize (£300.-) and Pieter was invited to give a talk during the conference to discuss his findings.
