Phoebe Kirkwood represents The University of Edinburgh in the Universitas 21 Three Minute Thesis competition

Final year Tissue Repair student Phoebe Kirkwood is representing the University of Edinburgh in the international Universitas 21 Three Minute Thesis Competition. Phoebe studies scarless wound healing in the placenta in the lab of Prof Philippa Saunders at the MRC Centre for Inflammation Research.

The Three Minute Thesis competition (3MT®), first developed by the University of Queensland in 2008, challenges research students to communicate the significance of their projects to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes.
