Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PgCAP)
A PgCAP qualification can help you develop and enhance your practice in your academic roles.
The PgCAP is offered by the Institute for Academic Development in conjunction with Moray House School of Education and Sport. It is aimed at those seeking a credited postgraduate qualification in Learning and Teaching. It draws on the Advance HE Professional Standards Framework as well as current research within the field of academic practice to provide participants with the conceptual and theoretical frameworks needed to critically engage with the question of how to promote high-quality student learning.
Those who have recently completed Clinical Education in Practice may be eligible to claim partial exemption from a component of the PgCAP via recognition of prior learning.
