Upcoming Unconscious Bias workshops
Equality, Diversity & Inclusion are running a series of Unconscious Bias half-day workshops for staff.
The first two are being held 9.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-4.30pm on Monday 4 September.

The workshops (facilitated by Dr Pete Jones, C.Psychol. C. Sci. AFBPSs, Shire Professional Chartered Psychologists) offer delegates an opportunity to raise their awareness of unconscious bias, to apply that awareness to an HEI setting and to develop ideas for research led actions to mitigate personal, manager and organisational bias in key people processes. It includes an opportunity to undergo unconscious bias testing and to receive confidential feedback on the test results.
Both will be held in Room. 1.17 Dugald Stewart Building, Charles Street.
Further workshops are being scheduled for November 2017 and February 2018 and will include one at King's Buildings and one at Little France.
Staff can also complete Overcoming Unconcious Bias training online, at any time.
