Meet the Community Team
The University’s Community Team is a central point of contact for community engagement at the University.
The Community Team provides operational support for the implementation of the University's Community Plan. The team is currently made up of staff members from the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability and Communications and Marketing. The team also acts as an interface between the University and communities in the local region.

The Community Team relies on relationships with excellent colleagues around the University in order to connect community inquiries to the right person. Through these relationships, the team is also able to gain knowledge about members of the University who are working with local organisations, schools or individuals; this can help us make sure the University’s community engagement activity is coordinated.
The Community Team is happy to try and help with your inquiries related to community engagement. We also simply like to hear about what you’re up to! As well as improving our knowledge of what’s happening in the University, your work could also make an excellent communications story or be just the sort of thing we know a community partner is looking for.
