Spy Week 2018 is coming
Our annual Spy Week runs from 16-20 April and the University will be hosting public events focusing on espionage fiction and film.

The Department of English Literature works with other cultural organisations in Edinburgh to create a fascinating week-long programme of events about spies and spying, and the ways in which secrecy and espionage run through our history and culture.
The very best contemporary spy writers are invited to Edinburgh to talk with academic researchers about books, culture and ideas.
Some exciting highlights not to be missed are:
Monday 16 April
Tuesday 17 April
Wednesday 18 April
Thursday 19 April
Friday 20 April
All talks at the University and the National Library of Scotland are free and open to everyone, but must be booked in advance at http://www.spyweek.ed.ac.uk
An associated season of films will be at Edinburgh’s Filmhouse cinema. This year’s film programme explores the issue of conspiracy and considers how paranoia underpins much of contemporary life.
