Translation Studies

About us

Welcome to Translation Studies at the University of Edinburgh.

Providing excellent teaching and supervision, our postgraduate programmes are among the UK's most comprehensive and flexible.

Our research expertise include audiovisual and literary translation, and translation's relationship to music, the internet, performance, religion, trauma, gender, health, and social movements.

We are an official Higher Education (HE) Language Partner of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) and a member of the RWS Campus - Trados Academic Partner Program.

We are also partners in the International Postgraduate Conference in Translation and Interpreting (IPCITI).
