School Plenary

The School Plenary is a discussion forum for all staff, which can also include presentational workshops, for current matters affecting the School.

Planning and Resources Committee

Makes resourcing decisions, affecting the school.

School Management Committee

The School Management Committee is the forum in which key decisions affecting the School are made. Committees constituted by the School have business remitted to them by, and report to, the School Management Committee.

LLC Academic Promotions Committee

The LLC Promotions Committee reviews applications from academic colleagues seeking promotion before submission to the College Promotions Committee.

Undergraduate Studies Group

The Undergraduate Studies Group is the forum in which decisions regarding undergraduate curriculum development are taken.

Quality Assurance and Enhancement

The purpose of this committee is to promote and coordinate quality assurance and enhancement of teaching and learning within the School.

Research Committee

The purpose of the Research Committee is to promote and support research activity, in line with the School research strategy.

Impact Committee

The purpose of the Impact Committee is to promote and support impact activity, in line with the School research strategy.

Research Leave Committee

The purpose of the Research Leave Committee is to consider applications for research leave on an annual basis, in line with the School research strategy.

Undergraduate Board of Studies

The University continually revises and updates its courses, degree programmes and awards to maintain the currency of its teaching and the learning experience. The Board of Studies is responsible for curriculum discussion and approval within a School.
