Undergraduate Student Surveys

Your opinion is important to us. Every year we collect students' views using surveys to help shape the way we do things now and in the future. All the data we gather is used to shape future decisions about the full spectrum of areas that make up the student experience.

The National Student Survey

Right now the National Student Survey (NSS) is open for all undergraduate students.

The NSS is for all final year undergraduates and is run by Ipsos MORI on behalf of all higher education organisations in the UK. The NSS gathers opinions on the quality of your courses. It asks you to provide honest feedback on what it has been like to study your course at the University of Edinburgh.

You can fill in the survey at the NSS website anytime between now and 30 April 2015:

We are encouraging all undergraduate students to take part in these surveys so that you have a voice in developing and improving the student experience at the University of Edinburgh for both yourself and for future students.

Also, all students who fill out the NSS are entered into a draw to win a variety of prizes including print credit, Tesco vouchers and Amazon vouchers.

Your individual survey responses are confidential. The aggregated results from each survey are reported and published so that students' views are publicly known.
