Events
There are frequent public seminar and lecture events across the University of Edinburgh relating to all aspects of Islamic & Middle Eastern Studies and related disciplines.
These include the weekly IMES Research Seminar Series, where IMES research staff and PhD students, as well as invited UK and international scholars, present current research.

Both the Centre for the Advanced Study of the Arab World and the Alwaleed Bin Talal Centre of the Study of Islam in the Contemporary World also have regular and occasional event programmes.
