Support for Taught Masters Students
Our Student Support Office welcomes enquiries from all current students on taught Masters programmes in the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures (LLC).
What we can help you with
We are your first point of contact for all administrative and pastoral matters including:

absences, authorised interruption of study applications and withdrawal
- factual reference letters for banks and letting agencies confirming your student status
- Welcome Week enquiries
- advice on curricula, regulations and procedures
- special circumstances applications
- student progression
- learning adjustments
In the 2021 to 22 academic year, as a response to COVID-19, many of us are working on a hybrid basis - a mixture of on-campus and digitally.
Our working hours are Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm BST.
Please email us in the first instance, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
Alternatively, we are offering bookable online appointments Monday to Friday from 10am to 12pm BST and from 2pm to 4pm BST.

Support for Masters by Research Students
Support for students on Masters by Research (MScR) programmes is provided by the Postgraduate Research team.
We hope you’ll understand why we aren’t able to offer routine in-person appointments at the moment.
Our working hours are Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm BST.
