Film and Intermediality

Edinburgh Screen Conversations: Jonathan Melville

About the seminar

Join writer Jonathan Melville in conversation about his latest book, a study of Russell Mulcahy’s 1986 fantasy adventure Highlander. A tale of centuries-old conflict between immortal warriors, the film starred Christopher Lambert and Edinburgh’s own Sean Connery, and quickly became a cult phenomenon, spawning sequels and TV spin-offs. In preparation for the event, you may wish to view Highlander. It is available via Learning On Screen (BoB).
