The German Play 2018: Das Leben

One of the high points in the extra-curricular life of German at Edinburgh is the annual play, which this year is organised by Julia Feike (DAAD-Lektorin) with a cast and crew of enthusiastic students coming together as the German Play Society.

In 'Das Leben', Alpha, Beta, and other characters from the Greek alphabet present a series of snapshots which capture how truly absurd life can be. Meanwhile, life imitates art as they struggle to put on a play of their own. No stone is left unturned as each scene attempts to address a variety of issues, some of which you will undoubtedly relate to. In fact, 'Das Leben' is for anyone and everyone curious about what it all means.

'Das Leben' will be performed in German in the Downstairs Theatre at Assembly Roxy from 14th to 16th March 2018, starting at 7pm each night.

Tickets are available online and in person at the venue (£6, concessions £4).
