The Russian Economy: Structural Problems and Perspectives on Economic Growth

Professor Alexei Kudrin is a prominent Russian political figure. He is a former Russian Minister of Finance (from 2000 until 2011) and a former Deputy Prime Minister (2000–2004, 2007-2011), Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences of the St. Petersburg State University, an honorary professor of the Department of Economics of St. Petersburg State University and the author of numerous academic publications in economics and finance. Kudrin is the Head of the Civil Initiatives Committee, a Non-Governmental Organisation which promotes human rights and development of civil society in Russia.
