'Chitai, chitai': Film Screening and Q&A with the director

Ten young people arrive in Moscow from Yaroslavl to seek their fortune - famous contemporary Russian writers imagine their lives and fates 20 years into the future (Mikhail Durnenkov, Alisa Ganieva, Andrei Gelasimov, Upyr Likhoi, Zakhar Prilepin, Yaroslava Pulinovich, German Sadulaev, Sergei Shargunov, Aleksandr Snegirev, Olga Stolpovskaia).

Reviews of the film:

“This is a fresh thing, it doesn’t fit into existing schemas, you won’t find anything like it.” (Mikhail Ratgauz)

“It is impossible to say whether this film is playful or documentary – it is something entirely different from anything else… every portrait is done simply but not without finesse, in a free, informal manner.” (Maksim Markov, “Ridus”)

“The most interesting part of the film is the specific, lively and probably very truthful artistic reflection on our times.” (Elena Yakovlevla, Rossiiskaia Gazeta)

The film will be shown in Russian, and is followed by a Q&A session.
