Remembering Chantal Akerman (1950- 2015)
Dr Gosia Bugaj and Martine Pierquin (Short Courses at the University of Edinburgh) would like to invite you to a screening of 'Hotel Monterey' (1972, 62 minutes) by Belgian pioneering film-maker and artist Chantal Akerman who died last week aged 65.
Chantal Akerman was widely considered a leading light of experimental European cinema, and an important influence on directors such as Gus van Sant, Todd Haynes and Michael Haneke.
