'Lest we forget' : WWI and Belgian Refugees in Scotland
Caroline Verdier, Research fellow of the CRFB, is involved in a project organised by the Scottish Refugee Council, entitled ‘Lest we forget’.
The overall aim of the project if to increase knowledge and understanding of the heritage of the forgotten experience of Belgian refugees in Scotland during WW1, as well as global and local perspectives past and present on WW1, by examining the experiences of people from around the world and public perceptions of refugees in Scotland then and now.
