Earth Defenders under threat

The Centre de recherches francophones belges at the University of Edinburgh is pleased to partner with SCILT, Scotland’s National Centre for Languages, the Universities of Strathclyde and Leicester, and Wallonia-Brussels International for an online screening of Sangterra and Q&A with Belgian producer Christophe Smets.

Sangterra is a documentary and multimedia project about Exposed Earth Defenders - climate activists from around the world who keep fighting for the planet despite the threat on their lives.

The documentary is in English and subtitled in French. The screening will be followed by a Q&A in both languages with Belgian producer, Christophe Smets.

The event will take place on Zoom and tickets should be booked in advance on Eventbrite.
