Speaker: Professor Nozomi Fukasawa, Kanazawa University

Requirement: Participants have to prepare a 2-minute speech “My favourite / recommended Japanese language textbook” for the workshop.

Language used in Workshop: Japanese

Coffee and biscuits will be served.

 

This is a hands-on workshop to try out a new type of speech activity called “Biblio Battle”, followed by a discussion of the public speaking skill and how is has been addressed and taught in Japanese language education. Workshop will be held in Japanese.

Professor Nozomi Fukas

awa leads the Japanese language education programme at Kanazawa University, and one of her co-authored publications, 'Introduction to academic presentations : the first step for Japanese language learners and Japanese students' (Miura, K et al, 2006. Hituji Shobo) is well-received.
